NOVA AI Video Creator ("NOVA", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Savvy Setup. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the NOVA mobile application ("App").
Summary: We collect only what we need to run the app. We never sell your data. Your videos are yours. You can delete your account and all data at any time.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address - Used for authentication, password recovery, and critical account notifications
- Password - Stored securely by Firebase Authentication (we never see or store your plaintext password)
1.2 Content You Create
- Text prompts - The descriptions you type to generate videos. Stored locally on your device and temporarily sent to our AI providers for video generation.
- Generated videos - Created by third-party AI models. Video URLs are stored on your device and in our cloud storage temporarily.
- Voice recordings - If you use voice cloning, a 30-second voice sample is sent to ElevenLabs for processing. We do not store your voice recording on our servers.
- Images - If you use image-to-video or AI Avatar features, your selected image is sent to our AI provider for processing only.
1.3 Usage Data
- Generation history - Number of videos generated, credit usage, and tier selections
- App analytics - Screen views, feature usage, and crash reports (via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics)
- Device information - Device model, OS version, and a device identifier for free trial abuse prevention
1.4 Purchase Information
- Subscription and purchase data - Managed entirely by Google Play. We receive confirmation of purchases but never see your payment card details.

4. Data Storage and Security
- All data stored on your device is encrypted using AES-256 encryption (EncryptedSharedPreferences and SQLCipher)
- All network communications use HTTPS/TLS with certificate pinning
- API keys and credentials are stored in encrypted storage backed by Android Keystore
- Firebase data is stored in Google Cloud data centers with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance
- We do not store your generated videos on our servers permanently. Videos are hosted temporarily by our AI providers and may be deleted after 7 days.
5. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained until you delete your account
- Generated videos: Stored locally on your device. Cloud URLs expire after 7 days.
- Usage logs: Retained for 90 days for abuse prevention, then automatically deleted
- Crash reports: Retained for 90 days by Firebase Crashlytics
- Moderation logs: Retained for 30 days for safety review
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction: Update inaccurate personal information
- Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data from within the app (Settings > Account > Delete Account)
- Portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format
- Restriction: Restrict processing of your data
- Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interest
7. Children's Privacy
NOVA is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States, European Union, or other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place through Standard Contractual Clauses and our providers' compliance certifications.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
